02.10.2008 Happy 3rd Birthday Benjamin!!! Wow, the last three years have gone by so fast. Ben had a great birthday yesterday. The Topping house has had a lot of changes the last several months. James got a promotion. Now that he is a supervisor, he works longer hours. Ben crawls all over the house, up the stairs and on the furniture. During the last several months we have been taking Ben to get all of his assessments for the school board. He will start school in August. He is completly off the vent now. Praise God! We are working on him eating and getting weaned off of the trache. We have also had to say goodbye to some good friends as they moved to North Carolina. We love you all and thanks for all of your prayers and love.
08.19.2007 Well, Ben had a HUGE break through this week during therapy. HE STOOD UP ON HIS OWN!!! Yeah!! He recently got fitted for braces and since then he has made some tremendous break throughs. He also got a pool and is learning to like it more and more. James and I are learning how to deal with a very mobile child now. He sits up on his own now and moves everywhere. He has not learned to crawl yet, but we can all see it will not be very long. He rolls and scoots everywhere. He is learning new words now too. He says bye-bye and tries to say good boy. He has yet to say MaMa, but I am working on that everyday. He has already mastered DaDa tohis father's delight. I will make sure I keep everyone updated on all of his new tricks. 08.05.2007 Family and Friends, Benjamin is such a big boy now! I know it has been a while since I have updated the site. Our says are so busy now with Benjamin. He was real sick after Christmas. He was sick for about two months. He has gotten so big since then. He rolls everywhere he goes. He hates to sit up and play because that confinds him. He wants to move everywhere. Ben got a stander from his physical therapist. He is doing so good with it. Ben loves to make you laugh. It cracks him up when you laugh at him. I hope you enjoy the new pictures. I hope to have some videos to watch soon.
